Better Breathers Support Group Features Living with Lung DiseaseJuly 19th, 2010

The Shore Health System Center for Cardiopulmonary Fitness and Wellness is hosting a special meeting of the Better Breathers support group on Thursday, September 2 at 1:30 pm. The group will meet in the Solarium at Dorchester General Hospital. The session is free and open to the public.
People who participate in the pulmonary rehabilitation program at Dorchester General Hospital will share their experiences of living with lung disease. The speakers have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, asthma and pulmonary fibrosis. They will discuss how regular exercise has improved their quality of life, the challenges of using oxygen and other related topics.
