Birthing Center

Located at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, Shore Regional Health’s Birthing Center provides expectant mothers and their families with a host of services including educational programs on “Labor and Delivery”, “New Mom New Baby”, “Infant Safety”, “Breastfeeding”, “Big Brother & Big Sister”, and “Infant CPR”.

Shore Regional Breast Center

The Breast Center provides quick, precise medical information and in-depth counseling to help women make informed decisions when they are facing a breast cancer diagnosis. The Center staff includes a Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years experience in Women’s Health to communicate with women, their families and their physicians. The focus is on appropriate therapy to return the patient to family, work and normal activities as soon as possible.

Shore Regional Cancer Center

Shore Regional Cancer Center, located at 509 Idlewild Ave. in Easton, Maryland, is the hub of the extensive cancer program that is offered here at Shore Regional Health. Our highly trained, professional staff provides an interdisciplinary approach to cancer care. From diagnosis, treatment, support and survivorship our patients are never alone. Our comprehensive technology combined with a personal touch and superior patient care is what helps our medical, radiation and surgical oncology teams provide excellent care, everyday.

Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services

Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services works closely with physicians to diagnose and treat patients by providing a wide range of services at UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, UM Shore Medical Center at Easton and Shore Medical Pavilion in Queenstown. The services offered assess the health of heart, lungs and blood vessels so that physicians can prescribe treatment to keep people healthy and active through all stages of life.

Emergency Services

Shore Regional Health’s Emergency Services consist of the Emergency Departments at the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, the UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester and the UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown. Each center is open 24 hours-a-day. Express Care at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton is open 11am – 9pm, 7 days a week.

Palliative Care

The Palliative Care Program at Shore Regional Health began as a vision of the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, 2-East Oncology Nurses, with support from the Administration and funded by the Auxiliary of the Memorial Hospital. Nursing Staff specially trained in end-of-life nursing care coordinate and manage individualized treatment plans assuring adequate pain and symptom management. A specialized care team assists patients and families dealing with emotional, spiritual and financial concerns specific to individuals facing the end-of-life. A family lounge offers privacy, comfort and solace to each family.

Pediatrics

The staff of the Pediatric Unit at Shore Regional Health do their best to help your child get well. We understand that being in the hospital can be a stressful time for you and your child. With that in mind, our caring, experienced team works together to ensure that your child’s hospital stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We encourage you to stay with your child during his/her hospitalization and to actively participate in your child’s care.

Primary Stroke Center

Shore Regional Health Primary Stroke Centers have a specially trained team prepared to assess and treat stroke patients. The team is composed of an ED nurse and physician, a neuroscience nurse, and a hospitalist or neurologist.

The Requard Center for Acute Rehabilitation

The Requard Center for Acute Rehabilitation, located at the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, is a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital unit that admits patients ages 18 and older who have a medical need for comprehensive medical rehabilitation in a hospital setting.
